Find Your Perfect Adventure

Our Favorite Riverside Beers

The sun is shining and summer is here, go to the river and don’t forget the beer!

With so many beer choices out there it can be overwhelming when trying to select the right one for your river adventures. Light beers are perfect for the job because you can drink a few and still be able to play. Moreover, they also complement the summer heat. Stouts and porters are great, but you don’t want to feel full and sluggish when paddling down the river with the sun on your back. You also want to find something that is served in a can because they can be crushed up, and stored easier until you can dispose of them properly.  To help you out we have narrowed the list down to our top 5 beers to take on your river vacation (in no particular order):

  1. Pinner Throwback IPA – Oskar Blues Brewery

At 4.9% ABV and 35 IBUs, this drinkable IPA uses several varieties of hops to target the ever-evolving flavor. With tropical fruits, citrus juices, pineapple and spice berry up front in the aroma and flavor, the biscuit & toasted bread at the back balance out all the hops and make a great finish to go on to your next can of PINNER. It’s the perfect beer for a little sip, sip, give.

  1. Dos Equis

Lager Especial is a golden pilsner-style beer made from pure spring water and the choicest hops. With a balanced composition and a smooth, clean finish, it’s the party guest who is always invited and never overstays his welcome.

  1. Colorado River Rafting

    Hamm’s | Hamm’s Brewing Co.

America’s Classic Premium Lager born in the land of sky blue waters, Hamm’s is brewed in true family tradition from purest water and choicest barley malt, grain and hops. Being one of the cheapest beers on the market is always a good perk as well.

  1. PBR (Pabst Blue Ribbon)

PBR is brewed in the finest traditions of an American Premium Lager dating back to 1844. Brewed with a combination of 2 & 6-row malted barley, select cereal grains and American and European hops, Pabst Blue Ribbon is fermented with a proprietary lager yeast. The unique fermentation and maturation process results in a smooth, full bodied beer with a clean, crisp finish with a fine noble hop aroma. Known as a hipster beer that prides its self off of leaving its customers up to advertising for them. The best price on the Market if buying in bulk.

  1. Montucky Cold Snack

One of the newer beers on the scene Montucky Cold Snack is a American Pale Lager style beer brewed by Melanie Brewing. It started off with two friends just wanting to make a enjoyable beer for a reasonable price. They also have prided themselves as company that only takes enough to pay for there production. All profits are donated to a variety of charities.
